Can I drink creamer with my coffee while on a clear liquid diet?
No. Cream is not a clear liquid. During colonoscopy prep, drink only liquids you can see through—such as apple juice, chicken broth, sports drinks, and soda.
Are milkshakes considered clear liquids?
No. Milkshakes are not clear liquids. Try a clear popsicle instead.
What medications may I take the morning of my procedure?
Beta blockers are typically taken the morning of your procedure. Most other medicines can wait until afterward. Call an endoscopy nurse if you have specific concerns.
